Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City (KCHBA)
The Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City is the voice of the housing industry and the source for housing information. Comprising more than 1,000 member companies, the HBA represents an industry that contributes approximately $2.5 billion to the Kansas City economy and supports more than 36,000 jobs in the Greater Kansas City metropolitan area.

National Association of Home Builders (NAHB)
The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) is a federation of more than 800 state and local builders associations throughout the United States. The mission of this Washington, D.C. based trade association is to enhance the climate for housing and the building industry, and to promote policies that will keep housing a national priority. Chief among NAHB's goals is providing and expanding opportunities for all consumers to have safe, decent and affordable housing.

Certified Graduate Builder
Certified Graduate Builder (CGB) courses offer an overview of key areas in today's home building industry-business management, financial strategies, marketing techniques, construction technologies, and more. To earn a CGB certificate a builder must complete nine, six hour courses. To maintain the designation, a graduate must take one additional CGB course (6 hours) every year after the initial certificate date. The six hours also may be earned by taking approved state and local seminars, NAHB national seminars or college courses related to the building industry.

Shawnee Chamber of Commerce
By design, economic development in Shawnee is a joint partnership between the City of Shawnee, the Shawnee Area Chamber of Commerce (SACC), and the business community. Located in the Firstar Bank Building at the southeast corner of Shawnee Mission Parkway and Long, the SACC is a voluntary organization of business and professional men and women who have joined together, with a common mission of promoting the commercial, industrial, and civic progress of our community. The SACC has information readily available to fill requests from new residents and businesses wanting to locate in Shawnee.
