My wife and I were introduced to a JS Robinson home after his first model in Park Place - the Essex II - won the Grand Prize American Dream Award in the Spring Parade of Homes in 2007. We decided to build a modified version of that plan in Park Place as our retirement home in 2009. The process couldn't have gone better. Every stage from planning to completion went flawlessly. The quality of construction is exceptional. Jeff and his whole team were great to work with, and our building experience was a joy. Last summer we discovered quite by accident that the transom window above our front entrance door was never properly caulked. Even though our construction warranty had been expired for over three years, Jeff sent someone over to take care of that immediately with no questions asked. Where do you get that kind of service after the sale these days.....particularly when they could have just reminded us that our warranty expired a long time ago? That's the kind of builder Jeff is. We were lucky that we chose the right builder, and couldn't be happier with our home.

We had never built a home before. Jeff & his team of Todd, Dave as well as other ancillary team members helped guide us through the process. They all are very patient with the million ideas that we desired & questions that we had. They were also helpful when we got stuck in the decision making process. Because there wasn't a model in place at the time we were building, he took us to some established homes to help us plan. The beautiful show room full of samples made it comfortable and easy to choose details, and his designer Trish helped keep us in budget as well as in fine style. Jeff and his team were so great at helping us visualize what was happening through great drawings and explanations of each step. Now that we are living in our beautiful new home, Jeff and his team have been great to call for advice. They really care and make sure to follow up if there are items needing attention. When our home was on the Johnson County Extension Master Gardener's Garden Tour in 2014, I emailed Jeff that we were going to be showing our garden and he sent Edna from the warranty department to evaluate and her skilled eyes found some other little areas for touch up too. Jeff was so gracious to send men out before the garden tour, to do some minor touch up on some small items on our home 3 years after we moved in! That is the kind of wonderful customer service you receive when you purchase a JS Robinson home.

It really came down to the fact that Jeff was so present from the beginning. I will never forget how pleasantly surprised Ryan and I were when we had a meeting with JS Robinson to discuss the customization of the existing plans JS Robinson offered and Jeff Robinson sits down with drawing paper and a felt marker and goes room by room with us. Asking what we are looking for at every turn, offering suggestions and listening to what we wanted all while working to make it work within our budget. It was clear immediately that Jeff Robinson was the man we wanted to build our house. We were not disappointed, throughout the building process Jeff maintained communication and addressed our needs and worked to keep us happy. One year in our new house we absolutely love our home and are certain choosing JS Robinson was the best choice for us!

I highly recommend your home be built by JS Robinson. Many people build a home and tell others 'I would never build a house again'. We would with Jeff and his team based on our experience negotiating the plan, the attention to details throughout the build process, and the follow-up after we moved in. Their understanding in how to turn a vision into functionality, while controlling cost, left us with a good taste in our mouth. Our project manager (Dave F.) and financial analyst (Todd) were fantastic to work with and were extremely responsive to our requests. Almost 2 years after our build, we remain happy with our home and JS Robinson's service.
